An employee of North High School in North St. Paul is on leave pending a misconduct investigation.
Parents were informed of the investigation in a letter Tuesday from school principal Greg Nelson. He said he had received “an allegation of inappropriate conduct” against a school employee, who would be on leave from the district during the investigation.
Citing privacy laws, Nelson provided no other details about the employee or the nature of the complaint. He encouraged parents to call the school office with questions or information.
“The safety of our students is always a top priority,” Nelson wrote. “I hope you’ll take this opportunity to encourage your child to talk to a trusted adult if they have any concerns about school. Our staff are available to any students who would like to talk or share information.”
