Two east metro women’s groups are partnering to host “A Healthcare Conversation: Minnesota Style” with state and national leaders.
Attendees will have opportunities to ask how decisions made in Washington and St. Paul affect their health care.
The St. Croix Valley Women’s Alliance and the League of Women Voters White Bear Lake Area are hosting the forum, set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 9. The event is free to the public and will be held at Stillwater Middle School, 523 W. Marsh St.
Panel members will include Andy Slavitt, former acting administrator for the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and state Sens. John Marty, DFL-Roseville, and Jim Abeler, R-Anoka.
Other panelists will be Canvas Health CEO Matthew Eastwood and Kathleen Picard, who is a health policy and practice consultant and policy advisor for the American Physical Therapy Association.
