Three candidates officially entered the race for St. Paul school board Tuesday on the first day of the filing period.
Incumbents John Brodrick and Jeannie Foster are joined as candidates by Marny Xiong. All three were endorsed by both the St. Paul Federation of Teachers and the city DFL Party.
Three seats are up for grabs Nov. 7. One-term board member Chue Vue has said he will not seek re-election.
The filing deadline is Aug. 15.
