Washington County sheriff’s deputies are investigating an overnight break-in at Century College in Mahtomedi.
Deputies were called to the east campus of the college Tuesday morning after school staff discovered several administrative offices and classrooms in one campus building had been burglarized.
Sarah Halverson, sheriff’s office spokeswoman, said some physical evidence was collected and an investigation is underway. A damage estimate was not available.
A school official said the burglary did not have any effect on classes. He declined to comment further because the incident is under investigation.
Century College has two campuses that are divided by East County Line Road/Century Avenue. The west campus in White Bear Lake did not have any reports of break-ins, police said.
