Those interested in serving on the University of Minnesota Board of Regents have until Dec. 2 to apply.
The Regent Candidate Advisory Council will present the state Legislature with two to four finalists for each of four positions. The terms of Laura Brod, David McMillan, Thomas Devine and Darrin Rosha expire next year.
Lawmakers will appoint regents from the 2nd, 3rd and 8th congressional districts plus one statewide at-large regent.
The Board of Regents governs the university and its satellite campuses. Members serve six-year terms and are not paid.
