An eighth St. Paul district school is making a short-term move to virtual learning on Thursday, just as students return to schools that moved online last week.
The upper campus of L’Etoile du Nord French Immersion has more than a quarter of its teachers out amid a statewide surge in coronavirus cases. With substitute teachers hard to come by, instruction at the school is moving online through Monday – five calendar days.
The school building will be open, but students are urged to stay home, and there will be no in-person instruction.
Students at four district schools went virtual on Friday and returned to buildings Wednesday.
Students at three other schools return Thursday after being home all week.
