Sunday is the deadline to register for the “For The Love of the Library” virtual event, a fundraiser for the Stillwater Public Library.
The event, which is 6 p.m. Tuesday, will be hosted by actor Rich Sommer and emceed by radio personality Lee Valsvik. Both grew up in Stillwater.
A number of celebrities will be making special appearances throughout the evening, including Jon Hamm, Ty Burrell, Jenna Fischer, Spike Carlsen, Lorna Landvik, Sarah Silverman, “Weird” Al Yankovic and Ira Glass.
Money raised at the event will fund materials, programs, services and historic preservation for the Stillwater Public Library.
