A member of the Mahtomedi School Board has resigned, according to school officials.
Mike Chevalier was not present at the last meeting Sept. 24, and resigned effective immediately. According to Superintendent Barb Duffrin, Chevalier resigned for “personal and work-related reasons.”
Chevalier was elected two years ago.
No decision has been made about holding a special election to replace him, or appointing someone to take his place. Duffrin said Chevalier’s replacement is excepted to be discussed at a board meeting Oct. 8.
